Yoshi has explored 50 countries across all seven continents and visited countless iconic landmarks along the way.

 

He has travelled over 746,000 kilometres and counting.

That's the equivalent of over 18 full laps around the Earth, crossing Canada 100 times back-to-back, or nearly one round trip to the moon.

​​​​How did it start? His story began as a small keepsake from home, tossed into my suitcase just before a girls’ trip to Italy in 2004. A few days in, I discovered him at the bottom of my bag and slipped him into my purse as a link to home. Soon after, he began popping into our photos and, without planning it, Yoshi’s Travels was born.

 

​​From standing atop the Great Wall of China to posing at the finish line of a Formula 1 race in Abu Dhabi, he’s visited places most travellers, including myself, only dream of.

He's embarked on over 100 trips and hit all seven continents with help from several generous friends.

Wherever he goes, Yoshi adds a whimsical touch and reminds us not to take travel, or ourselves, too seriously.
